Vegan Steak Recipe with Red Wine Mushroom Sauce
This vegan steak recipe is easy to prepare and perfect for steak dinner with your vegan friends or family. Serves up to 4 people with only 220 calories per serving, cooking time is only 40 minutes.

Ingredients
2 packs of Meatless Salsbury-Style Steaks
4 teaspoon of tomato paste
3 cloves of garlic, sliced thinly
2 tablespoon vegan butter
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
salt and pepper
1/3 cup vegetable broth
2 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
2/3 cup of PairME’s “The Wine for Steak”
Cooking Steps
Heat butter in a large skillet set over medium heat. Cook Meatless Salisbury Style Steaks for 5 to 8 minutes, turning once, or until heated through; transfer to a plate and keep warm.
Increase heat to medium-high; cook mushrooms and garlic for 5 to 8 minutes or until starting to brown. Stir in tomato paste; cook for 1 minute. Add PairME’s “The Wine for Steak” and broth, stir and bring to boil.
Reduce heat to medium; cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until liquid is slightly thickened and reduced to about 1/2 cup. Serve mushroom sauce over steaks; garnish with chives.
