Entre deux Mers, Bordeaux, France - layers of sand, gravel and clay intersecting with limestone rocks.
Vinification:
This wine comes from a 25-year-old vineyard, harvested when ripe, then vatted for 4 weeks at 79°F, before being aged in vats for a year.
Wine Tasting Notes:
Beautiful color, deep cherry, fruity nose with hints of strawberry and raspberry. Powerful on the attack, full-bodied with good balance, slight woody note on the mid-palate. Firm finish with a tannic impression that gives it longevity and a long finish.
